Consulting engineer – Electrical

Purpose of the role

Work across European countries as part of the Technical Design Team (TDT), who are responsible for early stage design input through our project design lifecycles, into construction, commissioning phases, and handover into long term operation.


• Design, technical management and consultancy for MV/LV systems including backup systems and lighting, Weak current - Building Management System (BMS); Public Address System (PAS), Fire Alarm System (FAS), Burglary alarm (BA), Access control system (ACS), CCTV, IT systems or other electrical or communication systems directly connected
• Collect, summarize and implement technical know-how including optimal and innovative technical solutions into company projects via design brief and company standards
• Active participation on preparation of scope of works for appointed external design teams and consultants
• Active support and technical management of appointed external design teams with proactive review of their design packages
• Be ready to advice alternative solutions on the spot (vary from minor design changes to principal system changes) – all changes to company standards are subject for previous approval
• Hand-on approach and involvement in design works in all design stages up to commissioning stage and Fit-out
• Provide input to category leader for resources planning to meet project deliverables and technical requirements
• Active interaction with all product design teams cross all discipline
• Provide support to project budgets
• Perform analysis of alternative technical solutions and implement them into company standards via approved procedure



  • Min 5 years’ experience with engineering design in the building services and construction industry. Knowledge of CE market is advantage.
  • Understanding of industry software packages including MS Office, Autocad, Revit and relevant discipline calculation software. DIALux, IES software knowledge is advantage


  • Engineering/university degree in given category, Chartered membership of a professional institution is advantage


  • English fluency is a must. Knowledge of German, Polish or Slovakian would be advantageous

  • Good communication skills, experience in dealing with different teams in various countries

  • Familiarity with various building certification systems i.e: BREEAM®, WELL®, LEED®
