Purpose of the role

In your role, you will be responsible for smooth operation, satisfactory technical condition and solving unexpected problems of assigned project including all related building blocks and technologies. Through coordination of vendors, external and internal partners you will deliver the highest technical and environmental standards meeting justified requirements of tenants and visitors while handling resources efficiently and in accordance with local legislation.


Responsibilities

- Manage activities related to building and technologies management, either directly or through subcontractors, with the aim to ensure operability of the building in terms of safety, cleanness, climatic comfort and quality of building services (information desk, contractor personel)
- Constant troubleshooting and ensuring fastest possible solution of any emerged problems
- Active participation in tendering, vendor selection, contract preparation, vendor coordination and regular evaluation of subcontractors´ performance quality
- Elaborating and updating of Operating Costs Plan, continous monitoring of resource usage and its compliance with the plan
- Active research, proposition and implementation of innovative solutions to increase the effectivity of operation and internal FM processes
- Communication with the Construction Manager in case of renovation or construction work to harmonize the construction activities and operation of building services
- Supervision and control of timely and correct invoicing of provided services
- Ensures archivation of up to date project and operating documentation of the building and its tenants

As a Facility Manager ,a typical day might include:
- Meeting with cleaning service vendor to provide feedback on his service quliaty and point out the space for improvement
- Meeting with tenant, insurance company and lawers to negoatiate the solution of an insurance event in the premises of your building
- Archive new documentation of renovated tenant premises
- Update the resource usage plan and send it to Group Facility Manager, arrange a meeting to discuss this topic for next day and prepare for the meeting


Requirements

Experience

  • Experience with building management as an advantage

Education

  • High school education / University education

Languages

  • English language – advanced level
