Senior Consolidation Specialist

Purpose of the role

Consolidation specialist is primarily responsible for participation on annual and semi-annual IFRS consolidation of HB Reavis Group and its sub-consolidated parts which are subject to formal sub-consolidation due to legal or compliance reasons or because they represent a separate line of business for which the management of HB Reavis Group is keen to see its business results.


Responsibilities

• Participates on preparation of consolidated financial statements

• Communicates with and manages work of external service providers (accounting service providers abroad, administration service providers) in order that accounting data is available for consolidation on time

• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers

• Deals with and provides information to external auditor (annual audits, transaction audits)

• Communicates with external tax and accounting advisors


Requirements

Experience

  • 2-3 years of professional work experience
  • Previous audit experience is a plus
  • A partially qualified ACCA student

Education

  • University degree in finance or accounting

Languages

  • Fluent in English

Other Relevant Skills

  • MS Office (Excel – advanced user)
  • MS Dynamix/Navision/Axapta, SAP or other professional accounting software a plus
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Slovak statutory accounting regulations
  • Knowledge of consolidation principles is a plus
  • Structured in thinking and clear in presentation of ideas
  • A team player. Ability to communicate at all levels across the Group.
  • Proactive, able to operate effectively and independently with minimum guidance. Able to challenge processes and implement improved working methods
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in work. Able to meet assigned deadlines
