HR Business Partner (1,5 year contract – maternity leave replacement)

Purpose of the role

A standalone HR Generalist role sharing reporting line towards the Group HR Manager (located in HQ in Slovakia) and local CEO. This is a true generalist role working closely with the local management, group HR colleagues (collaborating on internal cross-country projects) and internal stakeholders to build the business from a people perspective, whilst locally facilitating the full employee life-cycle.

The role requires a tenacious individual who will understand the business and can align the people strategy to the strategic initiatives of the company during a period of growth. The job also requires an influential individual who is able to manage expectations, challenge and retreat when necessary.


• Partnering closely with Business heads and wider Group level HR leadership
• Understanding local business context, issues and challenges to provide specific advice to Managers
• Interacting with a senior audience on local and group company level and acting as an effective coordinator who can manage expectations and influence
• Contributing to the strategic planning process in line with the wider HB Reavis business strategy including participation on Org. design changes and the implementation of group wide transformation project
• Managing the recruitment and hiring processes
• Planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives
• Supporting Managers during performance management cycle
• Accurately identifying and translating the training needs into requirements for the Training and development
• Supporting managers to identify and manage high performing / high potential individuals and ensure succession is in place for key positions
• Participating fully in key people related change decisions, anticipating and effectively dealing with any people issues
• Supporting managers in labour law related issues
• Managing the execution of the annual pay review and bonus cycles based on the company wide compensation strategy and process
• Being responsible for local payroll accuracy
• Administering benefits systems
• Managing budgets for personnel operations
• Taking overall responsibility for Employer Branding activities
• Cooperating actively with HR colleagues on internal project and initiatives (either in the HR area or with a business focus)
• Working collaboratively with HR colleagues to develop and improve policies and new ways of working
• Acting as a company culture ambassador, driving employee engagement in line with HRBP strategy and plans



  • 5+ years of previous experience in HR Business Partnering, HR operations tasks


  • University graduate


  • Fluent in English
