• Prepares regular statutory accounts
• Prepares statutory accounts following ad-hoc transactions (mergers, demergers, carve-outs)
• Prepares annual CITR and monthly, quarterly and annual VAT returns
• Oversees and manages work of accounting team
• Manages day-to-day accounting activities for allocated entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,
travel expenses, banking processes, PPE …
• Ensures all assigned account reconciliations are prepared and reviewed accurately and submitted in line with
corporate criteria
• Manages and performs monthly, quarterly and year end closings to ensure timely IFRS reporting in accordance with
corporate deadlines
• Ensures that tax and accounting practices comply with statutory requirements
• Supports with ad-hoc projects and other Management Controllership tasks as necessary
• Assists in quarterly balance sheet reviews and prepares variance analysis as necessary
• Understands key business models and month end tasks, proactively seeks to improve and simplify processes where
necessary
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers
• Deals with and provides information to external auditor (annual audits, transaction audits)
• Communicates with external tax and accounting advisors
