Purpose of the role

Senior HR Business Partner translates HR strategic goals and priorities into specific day-to-day activities within assigned functional areas of partnership. Serves as a trusted partner to defined local and group level people leaders. Has the ability to influence and manage expectations on both the people leaders and employee sides, challenge the business and facilitate change where necessary. Provides consulting and guidance in the whole employee lifecycle from talent acquisitions to exit while utilising group HR tools and methodologies, specifically in the area of Talent acquisition, Talent management, Compensation & Benefits and Administration.


Responsibilities

- Translates and adjust Group HR strategy into local environment & business lines
- Has detail overview of the assigned business functions/clients, their strategic business goals and situation from people perspective (challenges, needs of change, indicators such as attrition, talent pool, leadership gaps etc.)
- Oversees local recruitment plan and its execution in cooperation with TA function
- Guides and monitors progress of performance management process (goal setting and evaluation), provides relevant partnership and coaching to assigned business lines
- Provides guidance in compensation review process and cooperates with Group compensation function
- Guides and consults developmental activities of respective departments and functions
- Monitors budgets, plans and indicators (mainly Headcount, Training budget, personal costs, defined HR indicators) and provides inputs into planning on the Group level
- Helps to identify local talent and successor pool, provides guidance to leaders and drives the talent identification and retention process
- Oversees HR data accuracy in defined systems (mainly HRIS) in cooperation with HR controlling function
- Monitors compliance and legal obligations from HR perspective, makes sure we as a company adhere to requirements and takes necessary action
- Participates and guides leaders in disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Leads local initiatives & programs as per actual need
- Participates or leads group initiatives in cooperation with Group HR functions


Requirements

Experience

  • At leas 5 years of HR Business Partnering experience from mid to large matrix international organisations with mid to higher level management audience either as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager;
    Prior combined experience in L&D/OD/Consulting/C&B and/or direct business experience is welcomed.

Education

  • University education ideally with major in Management/Business/Psychology

Languages

  • Fluent in Slovak and English language
