Leading tobacco manufacturer choses Gdanski Business Center II for its Polish headquarters
HB Reavis’ Gdański Business Center has secured a new occupier. A division of one of the world’s largest tobacco product manufacturers will open its newest offices in October on the sixth and seventh floors of Building D. The client was advised during the negotiation process by CBRE experts. This is the third largest transaction in the Warsaw office market to take place in 2016.
Gdański Business Center, in the Muranów neighbourhood in Warsaw, provides the Polish capital with nearly 100,000 sq m of Grade A office space. The construction of the complex started in June 2012 and so far three out of four buildings have been commissioned for use. The completion of the fourth building is scheduled for the second quarter of this year. This will mark the conclusion of HB Reavis’ third Warsaw office complex, following Konstruktorska Business Center and Postępu 14.
Grzegorz Strutyński Commercial Director and Member of the Management Board at HB Reavis Poland said ‘Another global company will be moving to Gdański Business Center and this is testament to the quality of HB Reavis’ assets, which meet the highest European standards. We will ensure that our buildings stand out not only for the high quality materials and attention to detail, but also for their functionality of their design’.
Rafał Wdowczyk, Director of Office Department at CBRE, commented: ‘This transaction is evidence of the development of new business areas in the Polish capital city. The requirements set by companies in terms of location, quality of the building and flexibility of space arrangement are constantly evolving. Spaces such as Gdański Business Center confirm that a well-thought-out office complex is capable of pushing the growth of an attractive area and of drawing world-class customers.’
