Five HB Reavis buildings achieve WELL Core Certified Platinum, the top level of a leading health and wellbeing certification
Incorporating features which support health and wellbeing across its developments is one of the key pillars of HB Reavis’ strategy. The company has long championed the principle of creating healthy buildings that support people’s wellbeing and productivity by design.
Over the years, this approach has earned multiple WELL certifications across the company’s portfolio, continuously raising the bar for what healthy workplaces can deliver. Most recently, Varso 1, Varso 2 and Forest Campus (Burakowska 14 building 2) in Warsaw, together with Agora Hub and Agora Tower in Budapest, have all achieved WELL Core Certification at the Platinum level under WELL v2 , the highest level of WELL certification awarded by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).
A parallel recognition: double WELL ratings
Alongside the Platinum level certifications, HB Reavis also became the first real estate company in Europe to earn both the WELL Operations and WELL Real Estate Ratings – for Varso 1, Varso 2 and Forest Campus (Burakowska 14 building 2) in Warsaw and Agora Hub and Agora Tower in Budapest. This dual achievement signals the company’s commitment to making health and wellbeing foundational to every dimension of its real estate practice, not only in the infrastructure of its buildings, but also in the way those buildings are managed and operated every day.
A foundation for tenants to achieve their wellbeing goals
Together, the Platinum level WELL Platinum certifications and double WELL ratings reinforce the company’s long-term commitment to creating healthier workplaces and further strengthens the quality of its office portfolio. It places the five projects among Europe’s leading office buildings for health and wellbeing. In Poland, only two other buildings have achieved WELL Core Certified Platinum under WELL v2, while in Hungary there is just one under the WELL v2.
For landlords, a commitment to WELL is a powerful differentiator for attracting and retaining clients. By investing in both base building infrastructure and operations excellence, HB Reavis provides the verified foundation clients need to thrive, enabling them to leverage health-forward design attributes and amenities that can promote productivity from day one. Achieving both ratings supports HB Reavis’ broader Client centric and ESG and strategy.

What the WELL Certification and double WELL ratings recognise
Achieving WELL Core Certified Platinum requires meeting all mandatory health preconditions and earning at least 80 optimisation points across ten core concepts: air, water, nourishment, light, movement, thermal comfort, sound, materials, mind and community.
The projects already held WELL certifications, but HB Reavis set out to upgrade them to Platinum, which the company has established as its own baseline for all new projects. Reaching this level required additional work beyond the original certification process: HB Reavis conducted further technical analyses, including shading and transport studies, documented existing building features and developed a range of operational policies covering areas such as emergency preparedness, business continuity, waste and pest management and cleaning.
The WELL ratings reflect HB Reavis’ long-term commitment to integrating health and wellbeing into every aspect of its real estate practice. They recognise not only the quality of building infrastructure but also the standards applied to day-to-day building management and operations.
For occupiers and investors, the ratings provide independent verification that the company’s buildings meet rigorous, evidence-based standards. The WELL Real Estate Rating evaluates the performance of the base building, while the WELL Operations Rating assesses how buildings are operated and maintained. Together, they provide a comprehensive view of a building’s performance across both its physical environment and day-to-day operations.
To achieve both ratings, HB Reavis implemented measures across key areas including indoor environmental quality, water safety, responsible materials, building systems maintenance, resilience planning and tenant engagement. Compliance was verified by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) through its streamlined assessment process.
Continuing a journey of innovation
HB Reavis has been shaping healthier workplaces through the WELL Building Standard since 2016, when it became one of the first real estate companies in Europe to adopt the framework. A year later, the company achieved another European first with WELL Core & Shell Precertification for several projects, including Varso Place.
Today, HB Reavis is once again setting a new benchmark. By becoming the first real estate company in Europe to achieve both the WELL Real Estate and Operations Ratings, the company continues to raise the standard for healthier, higher-performing workplaces.
