GE and Bank BPH to move into Gdanski Business Center
International real estate developer HB Reavis has signed two major lease agreements for Gdanski Business Center. The Polish branch of General Electric and Bank BPH, join as tenants in Building D, which opened in May 2016.
“With a skilful combination of first-class office space, a wide range of services and the advantage of easy access to public transport, we have created a sought-after place which invigorates the northern part of Warsaw’s city centre that previously had not been perceived as an attractive location for business,” says Grzegorz Strutynski, Commercial Director and Board Member, HB Reavis Poland.
This autumn, Gdanski Business Center tenants will be joined by General Electric International, which has taken over 2,750 sq m of office space, with an option to extend to an additional 1,350 sq m on the fourth floor of the building. Bank BPH also joined Building D, occupying almost 730 sq m. The international consulting firm CBRE assisted on both leasing negotiations.
“Increasingly tenants consolidate offices to better manage entity operations. Advantageous situation on the Warsaw office market today gives them an opportunity to choose a new building and arrange turnkey standard spaces without additional input. Gdanski Business Center features nearly 100,000 sq m of state-of-the-art A-class office space located in four buildings; in mid-September 2016, two of them (A and B) were sold by HB Reavis to Savills Investment Management acting on behalf of a global pension fund. The current tenants of the complex include: KPMG, the Agricultural Property Agency, Nielsen, SNC Lavalin, Provident, WebInterpret, KMD, Agito, BGŻ BNP Paribas S.A. and the insurance group Aviva.
