HB Reavis fully lets Konstruktorska Business Center, its flagship Warsaw office development, with the signing of an 18,000 sq m lease
HB Reavis Poland has signed a record-breaking lease agreement with PZU, Poland’s leading insurance company, for 18,000 sq m of space in the Mokotów business district of Warsaw. The administrative back office of PZU will soon occupy three floors of the Konstruktorska Business Center, a flagship HB Reavis office development. Furthermore, Paymax S.A. and the ‘1 Minute’ store will also be taking space at Konstruktorska 13 from April 2015, seeing the building fully leased.
PZU has chosen Konstruktorska Business Center as its primary administration centre to house all back office functions across three consecutive floors of the seven-storey building. The company is scheduled to relocate to Konstruktorska in May 2015. The tenant has appreciated the unique, largest office floor in this part of Europe, with an area of over 7,000 sq m.
– Our office has been in the Służewiec district since 2010 and we were very keen to remain in the area. Konstruktorska Business Center met our location requirements, whilst offering a number of contemporary technological solutions and facilities to support an attractive work-life balance for our staff. We were looking for a large, spacious office which would provide our employees with a comfortable and modern work environment – said Katarzyna Majewska, Managing Director for Administration and Logistics at PZU.
Launched to the market in 2013, Konstruktorska Business Center is located in the heart of the business hub of Mokotów offering over 48,000 sq m of office space, in addition to 1,050 underground parking spaces. What truly distinguishes this Epstein-designed development are its two green internal patios of 3,200 sq m which provide a comfortable outdoor space for employees to both relax in their recreational time and to work, thanks to complimentary WiFi.
Sylwia Piechnik, Senior Leasing Manager at HB Reavis, responsible for this transaction, commented: – For a group as large as PZU, it was particularly appealing that the Konstruktorska Business Center building was able to provide unparalleled space efficiency, in addition to extensive flexibility in terms of office fit-out to meet the unique requirements of each tenant. She added: – This lease agreement is a clear demonstration of both PZU’s confidence and trust in HB Reavis, whilst also confirming our strong position in the market and the high quality of our assets.
In April 2015, two further tenants are scheduled to take up space in the Konstruktorska Business Center. Paymax S.A., the Polish provider of mobile payment terminal services, has leased over 300 sq m of office space on the fifth floor. The building’s first retailer is also due to move in to an 86 sq m unit on the ground floor, leased by the ‘1 Minute’ franchise. The development’s occupiers will thereafter be able to buy all their essentials on location, such as food and convenience items.
Other companies that are already located in the Konstruktorska Business Center include Procter & Gamble, Grupa Żywiec, MoneyGram, Otis, Carrier, Comperia.pl, Bilans and IMS Health.
