HB Reavis secures another contract at Postepu 14 with 4,700 sq m leasing to Samsung
HB Reavis, an international real estate development group operating across the Central and Eastern European markets, the United Kingdom and Turkey, has signed a lease contract for office space with Samsung Electronics Polska at the prime new office complex it has just completed at Postępu 14 in Warsaw. The new tenant will occupy 4,700 sq m over three storeys and is scheduled to move in during January 2016. Samsung Electronics Polska was represented by Colliers International, a global commercial real estate services organization.
The Postępu 14 office complex offers its tenants a number of technological solutions which make it possible to reduce the maintenance and service costs, such as air conditioning and ventilation with central air humidity control, individual temperature control, a rainwater harvesting system used for plant watering or cooling towers, as well as having energy saving LED light bulbs installed outside and in all common areas of the building. The developer has also taken care to provide amenities for the staff: bicycle stands, changing rooms including showers, a charging station for electric vehicles and an automatic number plate recognition system at the entrance to the parking lot. To help improve the work-life balance of its occupants, an internal patio with benches and free Wi-Fi access has opened at the back of the building.
‘We have built an office complex which caters to the needs of tenants representing various industries. Owing to an attractive location, modern design, flexible space, and the use of environmentally friendly technologies, Postępu 14 attracts constant interest from companies looking for new premises. For their employees, moving to our office complex will mean enjoying a new level of quality in terms of their working environment — there will be a place to leave their bikes, change their clothes, have lunch outdoors, take their laptops outside and work for a while in a green environment, using the Wi-Fi,’ says Grzegorz Strutyński, Commercial Director and Member of the Management Board, HB Reavis Poland.
The Postępu 14 office building was delivered in August 2015. This is the HB Reavis’ third completed development in Warsaw. Other investments, i.e. the Warszawa Zachodnia railway station, the first stage of the West Station complex, and the second stage of the Gdański Business Center complex, are currently underway, and there are also investments at the design stage.
