“Diebold Nixdorf has expanded greatly over the last ten years. Apart from a sales and services office we have also opened our shared services centers – the Global Customer Care Center and EMEA Business Services. We’ve been looking to consolidate all those offices in one location for several years. We want to provide our employees with the best workplace in a modern office, which also ensures excellent access for commuters from Warsaw and the whole metropolitan area. In addition, this investment will enable us to present our extended portfolio of solutions to our customers in a transparent and functional way in our state-of-the-art showroom,” comments Mirosław Janik, CEO Diebold Nixdorf Sp. z o.o.
The leading ATM developer is expected to have approx. 1000 professionals working at West Station II, which will be new home to Diebold Nixdorf’s trade office and service centre, as well as shared services centres. Situated next to the Warszawa Zachodnia station the office scheme will offer employees excellent access to the key transport hubs in Warsaw. In addition, people working in West Station II will be able to enjoy a wide range of amenities including restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries.
“Attracting the best employees in the market are essential for the success of businesses today. Companies that can offer its employees a well-designed, comfortable working environment with excellent facilities, in a good location will have a competitive edge. We are therefore very pleased that Diebold Nixdorf has chosen to relocate its office to West Station, which demonstrates that they have confidence in the facilities we provide. We look forward to welcoming them to West Station and hope the new office will contribute to their further growth in Poland,” says Karol Wyka, Senior Leasing Manager, HB Reavis Poland.
Diebold Nixdorf was assisted in the search for a new office by the international consulting firm CBRE.
“The office lease signed by Diebold Nixdorf is another example of the ongoing space consolidation process in the market. From the business perspective, a single head office means nothing but advantages for the organisation, including savings in maintenance costs as well as more effective team management and easier organisational culture building. The Warsaw office market encourages tenants to make those decisions, offering them attractive lease conditions and a wide range of office projects. Diebold Nixdorf decided to open an office at West Station due to its reliable location, the high quality of the building itself and its exposure as well as the solid reputation of HB Reavis, one of the key commercial real estate developers,” says Rafał Wdowczyk, Director, Advisory & Transaction Services, Office, CBRE.
West Station is a joint project developed by HB Reavis, PKP S.A. and Xcity Investment situated at Aleje Jerozolimskie, Warsaw. Apart from Diebold Nixdorf, West Station tenants also include PKP Group companies, ATAL, Coface, Panalpina as well as the serviced office network Office Hub.
