A masterclass in sustainable design, Worship Square is set to deliver using less than 450 kgCO2e/m2 upfront carbon (A1-A5), having used lightweight concrete and high recycled content electric arc furnace (EAF) steel, amongst many things, lowering embodied CO2 to below the RIBA Built 2030 Target. In real terms, the amount of embodied carbon is lower than some major refurb projects in London. 🏗️
