New meeting point for young entrepreneurs in Warsaw – Europe’s second HubHub opens
Warsaw has welcomed a new meeting place for all those who know or are only learning the meaning of words such as “crowdfunding”, “scaling up” and “venture capital”. HubHub at Postepu 14 combines comfortable office and coworking space with a rich programme of educational events and meetings during and after office hours. Both fledgling businesses and bigger organisations that wish to work with a startup community will find something to enjoy at HubHub.
At HubHub Warsaw you get to work, listen to a fascinating lecture, share your expertise with other entrepreneurs from the community or even… grab a beer with them. Yes, you heard it right. There is an actual bar up and running on site. While there are plenty of work desks, HubHub is much more than co-working space. Its originators want to create a space that fosters innovative ideas through partnership between like-minded talents from companies of varying size and from different industries, from the creative sector to new technologies to finance and real estate.
“HubHub responds to the needs of companies that are looking not only for a comfortable day-to-day working space but also for a place where they can share their accomplishments or find new partners for joint projects,” says Natália Kisková, Global Head of HubHub. “We are equally open to collaboration with the startup community and larger companies that want to be closer to innovative ideas that form in the minds of young entrepreneurs. Consequently, HubHub is the perfect environtment for extraordinary things to happen,” she adds.
HubHub at Postepu 14 currently has over 220 work desks in separate, fully furnished rooms or within shared desks. The two-floor space was furnished with items designed by talented Polish designers. You can come with your laptop, even for one day, and see it for yourself (prices start at PLN 110). HubHub users also enjoy a shared kitchen, personal storage lockers, convenient bike stalls, numerous relaxation areas and an impressive event space for a few hundred people from the HubHub community and beyond. There is also a bar with bistro available to the general public on the ground floor of Postepu 14.
“We describe ourselves as a state of mind – a coming together of like-minded individuals, each dedicated to the collective success of our network, in an environment specifically optimised for opportunity. The location in the heart of Warsaw’s largest business district helps us overcome the distance between young and large businesses,” declares Natália Kisková.
HubHub in Europe
HubHub occupies more than 2,000 sq m of office space in Postepu 14 and is the second location of that brand to open in Europe. The first HubHub was found in the spring of 2017 in Bratislava, with more to open in 2018-2020 in Prague, Budapest and London, giving all members of the community a better opportunity to take their business and network internationally. HubHub is an initiative by the international real estate developer HB Reavis.
