Danish IT leader to move into Gdański Business Center I
HB Reavis, an international developer group operating on the Central and Eastern European markets, in Great Britain and Turkey, has signed another lease contract for space in the Gdański Business Center I office complex. KMD, a Danish IT company, is to move into building A in October of this year to occupy nearly 6,200 sq m of space across three storeys. Negotiations were facilitated by the consulting agency DTZ, a global leader in real property services.
KMD is one of Denmark’s leading IT companies, which for the past 40 years has been providing solutions for the public and private sectors in Denmark. Nowadays, the company has over 3,000 employees in its offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Warsaw, among others.
– KMD has a great development potential, so I am very glad that they have chosen Gdański Business Center I for their future growth. Expansion works are still under way. Once finished, the complex will comprise 4 buildings, which means that KDM will have the opportunity to expand its business without having to look for a new seat. Such perspective is the best award for our efforts – said Grzegorz Strutyński, Commercial Director and Member of the HB Reavis Poland Management Board.
– The KMD’s priority was to find an attractive location, easily accessible to the employees by all kinds of transport. Another important factor was flexibility at the time of arranging the space. The new KMD office will be functional and effectively laid out, according to the latest trends, which will result in a friendly and productive working environment – says Paweł Strzemecki, Senior Consultant in the Office Agency at DTZ. His colleague, Monika Brzoska, Consultant in the Office Agency at DTZ, adds: – KMD is looking to expand to the Polish market and attract the biggest talent in the IT industry.
Gdański Business Center I is a modern A-class office complex located in Warsaw on Inflancka Street 4, close to the Dworzec Gdański underground station. Last year, the investment gained acclaim of industry experts, winning the ‘Office Development of the year 2014’ prize in the prestigious CIJ Awards contest. It also received the Prime Property Prize in the category ‘Investment of the Year – Office Space Market’.
Gdański Business Center I was completed in June 2014. It has already been chosen to house the seats of such companies and institutions as: KPMG, Agricultural Property Agency, SNC Lavalin, Provident, WebInterpret, Solid Logistics and EMC Computer Systems. The second stage, Gdański Business Center II, is scheduled for completion in the Q1 of 2016.
