HB Reavis expands retail and restaurant amenities at Postepu 14
HB Reavis Poland has secured two new tenants at the Postępu 14 office building, in Warsaw’s Mokotow district. The company has agreed leases with the Rossmann franchise and Connect canteen for new retail and catering services respectively. The arrival of Rossmann and Connect represent the first retail and refreshment offering targeted directly at the employees of companies operating at Postępu 14 and in nearby buildings.
Rossmann has 1,050 shops in 400 Polish cities. This company employs nearly 15,000 people in Poland, and its stock covers 16,000 products manufactured by Polish and foreign companies, including Rossmann’s own brand. From its 1993 entry on the Polish market, the network has been constantly developing and continues to open up new venues. Rossmann has chosen Postępu 14 for its newest location where it will occupy 476 sq m on the ground floor, from the side of Marynarska street.
‘The Postępu 14 building in Warsaw is a very attractive location. It is a prestigious office area of the city, with modern architecture and tens of companies have their offices here. We want their employees to be able to shop for cosmetics on their commute to and from work, and to have a spot to get a salad at lunch time, for example,’ said Rossmann’s spokesperson Agata Nowakowska.
As soon as in November, the Connect canteen will open its doors. It will occupy 426 sq m on the ground floor, from the side of the internal patio. It will offer reasonably priced and tasty breakfasts, snacks and lunches. The canteen will cater not only to employees of companies from Postępu 14, but also to all others who work or reside in the neighbourhood. Marek Dębicki, the owner, promises to have a selection of a few meals each day, including vegan and fit dishes, prepared on the spot with fresh ingredients.
‘To us, securing tenants for our service and retail space is a very important element of the commercialization process. They are an added value to our offer and often weigh in significantly on the decision of tenants who are searching for a new office location. What makes us particularly glad is that already within a few weeks since the commissioning for use of Postępu 14, we are able to announce two such lease contracts. Both will add to the work comfort of employees in this building,’ said Grzegorz Strutyński, commercial director and member of the Management Board at HB Reavis Poland.
The construction of Postępu 14 commenced in November 2013. This is the third HB Reavis investment in Warsaw commissioned for use. Its two previous projects, Konstruktorska Business Center and Gdański Business Center, have been leased out in 100% and over 80% respectively. HB Reavis, with its diverse portfolio of innovative projects, totalling now 131 800 sq m of completed space and 120 000 sq m under construction, is one of the most active developers on Warsaw real estate market.
