HB Reavis wins two prestigious titles at CEEQA
International real estate developer HB Reavis picked up the Central and Eastern European Real Estate Quality Awards (CEEQA) for ‘Developer of the Year’ and ‘Company of the Year’ at this week’s annual Gala & Industry Awards celebrated in Warsaw. The ceremony was held in association with the Financial Times which brought together over 800 industry leaders from more than 50 countries.
HB Reavis was praised by an expert panel or jurors for a number of developmental achievements after a remarkable year of completions which included four office projects in Poland and Slovakia as well as a retail scheme in the Czech Republic. Totalling 136,700 sq m, these projects represent the largest area of commercial space delivered in a single year in the company’s history. Varso Place in Warsaw was also commended on the night for it’s a 140,000 sq m mixed-use scheme featuring a 310m-tall Foster + Partners-designed tower which will be one of Europe’s tallest high-rise building once completed in 2020.
The CEEQA which is the main industry awards and flagship annual event for the property sector spanning 18 countries across central and eastern Europe and southeast Europe also awarded HB Reavis Company of the Year. The honour voted for by the over 800-strong audience at the gala on the evening was made up of high-profile industry professionals. Alongside an expert jury awarding the company Developer of the Year, these two awards demonstrate how HB Reavis is being recognised by both experts and a wider public audience for their work.
