Almost 13 million visits in less than a year since opening
315 days in full operation was enough for the unique Nivy mall to be included among the TOP retail destinations in Slovakia, and to confirm its place on the map of Bratislava thanks to more than 12,781,000 visitors and, transferring this concept to digital form, more than 81,000 downloads of the Ahoj Nivy! app.
In a year, Nivy mall managed to show that they are exactly what they are supposed to be – a multifunctional project: a public green roof with more than 1.5 million visitors, a rich gastronomy zone, a modern shopping centre, and a modern bus terminal serving 7,000 commuters per day.
Nivy bets on experiences – from traveling, shopping and spending free time, and with more than 81,000 downloads the Ahoj Nivy! app is providing these too. The application directly connects customers with brands and helps connect the traditional world with the digital one.
Something new every month
During the year, we opened several businesses in Nivy, from fashion to gastronomy. 90% of the mall’s GLA is taken, with the roster of brands including global names such as Zara and Zara Home, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Mohito, Mango, S.Oliver, the first Comma in Slovakia, and Oysho, with KFC, McDonald’s, Regal Burger, Hummus or Sushi Bar, and many new gastro concepts such as indian Véda, italian MARRA, or KINKA Ramen together with a wide offering of street food. Visitors can enjoy unique concepts enriched by the cosy atmosphere and beautiful views on the Bratislava city center such as Cabo, PadThai Wokbar, Nood.le, or Konn Foodbar with their tasty burger menu.
The portfolio of brands will soon be supplemented by the popular Vapiano gastro concept, as well as the Yoyoso brand with home accessories.
New unique meeting place
Thanks to our new concept, which looks at projects with multiple users in mind, we brought to Bratislava a unique meeting place, and thus increased quality of life in the city.
This was certainly helped by the green roof, which was designed as a public space, full of various functions for many urban communities – from athletes, mothers with children, gourmets, and gardeners, to Instagrammers and tik-tokers. More than one and a half million green roof visitors have enjoyed the sports fields and children’s playgrounds, and many places to rest and relax, including community gardens and barbecue areas.
HB Reavis followed up on previous successes and came up with a new global concept that changes the traditional view of retail. Today, Nivy celebrates its first birthday and during this time it has proved that it is not only a shopping center, but an important place in Bratislava, a place for modern urban life and experiences.
