Three new tenants take a further 2,000 sq m in HB Reavis’ Gdański Business Center I
HB Reavis has secured three new tenants for its flagship Warsaw office complex, the Gdański Business Center I. Ove Arup & Partners, the global design consultancy, the notary office and a new restaurant have each signed rental agreements totalling over 2,000 sq m.
Nearly 1,600 sq m of space on the fourth floor of Building B in the Gdański Business Center I has been leased by Ove Arup & Partners, a company which provides engineering, design, planning, project management and consulting services for all aspects of the built environment. Its impressive project portfolio includes world renowned buildings such as the Sydney Opera House, the National Stadium in Beijing and the Swiss Re building in London. Ove Arup & Partners has been operating in Poland since 1998, with offices in Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław, and over 160 employees. Iconic projects, that it has been engaged on in this market, include the Złote Tarasy shopping centre, the Złota 44 residential skyscraper and the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, the Malta Gallery in Poznan, and the Congress Centre in Kraków. The company will be relocating to the Gdański Business Center I by the end of 2015.

From April 2015, the notary office will commence operations in the Gdański Business Center I, leasing a 120 sq m unit on the ground floor of Building B. In September 2015, a restaurant and catering business will open in the neighbouring Building A, operating from a 470 sq m premises on the ground floor.

Companies that have chosen Gdański Business Center I for their headquarters include: KPMG, the Agricultural Property Agency (Agencja Nieruchomości Rolnych), SNC Lavalin, Provident, WebInterpret, Solid Logistics. The first development phase was completed in June 2014. The second phase – Gdański Business Center II – is currently well underway, with completion planned for Q1 of 2016. Total leasable space in the complex will amount to over 98,000 sq m.
