How can technology facilitate the return to the workplace?
As we think of (or dream about) returning to our workplaces, we expect that things are going to be a little different, and at HB Reavis, we believe utilising smart building data such as Symbiosy can become a key tool to help with smooth and safe transitions.
With that in mind, last week we tuned in to Bisnow’s webinar with our own Gilbert Lennox-King and Peter Victor who were joined by Antony Slumbers and Mike Phillips to discuss “how will technology facilitate a smoother return to the office?”.
As already rolled out in our own office, Symbiosy is our interactive tech and sensory platform which provides occupiers with a 3D virtual office model showing clear environmental insights, allowing them to see how spaces are used and how people behave in real time. Having this access to live data will become extremely useful as we adjust to new work routines, habits and adjusted occupancy levels!
Gilbert explains the origins of Symbiosy and how it is going to help with this process, “people going back to the office are going to have a heightened awareness of cleanliness and air quality – so what we’re doing with the technology is to make that information available, you can see the CO2 levels, temperature, humidity in real time throughout the space… which is going to be a powerful tool.”
Don’t worry if you missed out, we’ve made it available for you to watch and catch up here.
And finally, you can read about all things Symbiosy here.
