Varso Tower joins the Towerrunning tour
On October 8, we’ll be holding a Towerrunning tour event at Varso Tower in Warsaw.
Run up the Varso Tower will see competitors race up 1,400 stairs to the 53rd floor observation deck. The event takes place before the official unveiling of Warsaw’s newest landmark. So entrants will get to enjoy a 230m-high panorama of the city – twice as high as nearby Palace of Culture and Science – before it opens to the public.
A world-class location for a global sport
The event won’t be for the faint-hearted. As part of the Towerrunning World Association Tour 2022, it sits alongside challenging towerruns like the Empire State Building, Taipei 101 and the Eiffel Tower. And we’re expecting the field to include seasoned competitors as well as fitness fanatics from around the city and further afield.
Every step counts
We’re also using the event to promote Polish Humanitarian Action’s work helping Ukrainian refugees. With all 500 places now filled, we’re be donating 20,000 PLN to this very worthy cause.
Everyone who takes part will receive a starting number with a timing chip, commemorative T-shirt, medal and much-needed water at the finish line. We’re also very thankful of the support of the event sponsors, law firm CMS, Red Bull, NYX Hotel Warsaw and CIC Warsaw.
